//KLANGKELLER is a performance platform for experimentation in sound and music//each event will be split into two halves//one of which is programed by the KLANGKELLER team//the other is left unprogramed until one week before//with this we hope to support ideas that might not be quite fully formed yet but are well worth hearing//

HOFFNUNG 3000

August 24th - 26th 2017

self-organised festival for music, art and theory
at KLANGKELLER and in the rest of Berlin

HOFFNUNG 3000 is a festival for music, art and theory. It is an experiment in social, artistic and theoretical collaboration.

HOFFNUNG 3000 is the process of organising a festival, a festival that creates itself. Through each and every participant.

HOFFNUNG 3000 invites 30 practitioners into a collective creation mode. No top down curation, but self-curation.

HOFFNUNG3000 is decentralised platform thinking. Participation happens anonymously.

We invite all activists, artists, theoreticians, performers, musicians, hackers and everyone else to register. Be quick: we can only host 30 participants and the sign up for participation is open now. Go to www.hoffnung3000.de and register. HOFFNUNG 3000 is awaiting your fantasies.

///Johan Moir - Double bass and Casey Moir - Voice and pedals.
Bowls and bells ring. The bow sings. Pedals contort and distort. Soundscapes emerge. All elements are intricately woven together to captivate space and entice the ear with intrigue. In this brand new duo, spontaneuos composition evolves as the prepared double bass and amplified extended voice, steered with careful intent through cables and pedals, meet and unite in improvisation.
